Venue Options
Thank you for considering De Tol to host your event/conference. Below are a few options for food and drinks including a few additional notes and information.
Venue Fee
This includes: Tables and Chairs, Wonky ware plates, biodegradable knives and forks, serviettes and wine glasses. For conferences a projector and screen is available on request. We have different tariffs for day events and evening events.
Food and Drinks
Here at De Tol we offer platter options for events, but if you would like to appoint a private caterer for your event, you are more than welcome to do so. There will be a fee applicable based on what your caterer will use.
Platter options
Option 1 - Traditional cheese platter
Variety of 3 cheeses, selection of cured meats, seasonal fruit, olives and preserved figs - accompanied by our popular Roosterkoek
Option 2 - Best of De Tol platter
Homemade mini quiches and Flatbread together with a variety of 3 cheeses, selection of cured meats, seasonal fruit, olives and preserved figs - accompanied by our popular Roosterkoek.
Orders can also be placed from the attached menu in advance.
Optional extras and additional notes
A dispenser of Carmien Rooibos ice tea and/or water can be added at extra cost.
Our Cederberg Craft Beers on tap is available on request at extra cost.
For special events where you would like to bring your own cake, an extra charge will be applicable if we need to supply extra plates and forks.
Our Venue can seat up to 60 guests, with tables and chairs. If guests will be seated Cinema style, the venue can accommodate 70-80 persons.
We do have a sound system available that can connect via Bluetooth, please remember to bring your own device and playlist.
For conferences - notepads, pens and bottled water can be requested and you will be charged accordingly.
Only Piekenierskloof Wines can be purchased for use at our Venue
When Confetti is used for functions or events, it must be biodegradable
